Brides for a Cause Celebrates One Year with a Weekend Anniversary Event
Business owner Erin Scharf opens her doors for a special weekend event by offering 20% off already discounted dresses. Brides-to-be, moms and their friends make their way to NE Alberta and 20th Avenue to find the dress of their dreams. I had a fantastic time dancing around the action and capturing the connections between the dress and the future bride.

A long term project of mine is to capture, connect and learn about the fundamentals of mindful agriculture and clean products. It is my goal to use my photography as instruments to provide documentation of sustainable practices to the public.
Most recently, I had the gracious opportunity to explore Sunbow Farm, founder of the Oregon Tilth, which is located just outside of Corvallis, OR. Harry and Cheri were wonderful hosts and I will not forget my time there. Harry gave me a full tour of the farm and described his personal processes of maintaining acres of food for the community. Needless to say, I was blown away. As a child of consumerism I was not exposed to the organic process or the relationship to the dirt/earth, for me it came in a box and I didn’t know anything different.
For years I have been learning about how food is grown and harvested outside of the boxes I’ve to consumed. This was my first time on an organically maintained farm, I was at the source of my project.
With an abundance of sunshine,
Erica
