The Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) is a non-profit organization that provides resources for the tech industry in the greater Oregon and Southwest Washington region. They held an event, “Confronting the New Face of Fraud” with guest speaker Erin West is the the Founder of Operation Shamrock, a former Deputy District Attorney in Santa Clara County she now speaks about the multibillion-dollar pig-butchering schemes to sophisticated AI-driven social engineering attacks.
The event included networking, keynote, a fireside chat, job seeker opportunities and reception. It was held at LegitScript located at 111 SW 5th Avenue Suite 2700 in Portland, OR.
