Day Two of the Solar Culture Conference
Welcome to day two of the 2024 Solar Culture Retreat and 2-day Conference. Held on the 13 degree latitude coastline of El Salvador at Balancé Yoga & Surf, facing the Pacific and the La Bocana surf break where you can ground to volcanic sand and absorb high UVB sunlight.
Continuing the conference on day two presentations by experts, doctors, practitioners and passionate leaders in the field such as Dr. Francisco Gutierrez, Michael Clusk, Dr. Sara Pugh, Dr. Olivia Lesslar, Sarah Doheny and Mikayla Sprung on the latest research and findings, and shared their experiences and journeys of quantum and circadian biology.
Day one presenters were creator Kiera Lea followed by Dr. Sam Soete, Roudy Nassif, Dr. Alexis Cowan and Kelsey Dexter MD hosted by MC Jeff Gibson.
The main topics of the event were light as medicine, the relationship between light and biology and how our biology and our environment work together (and how it doesn’t).
Attendees were able to sit or stand grounded (harvesting photons) to the volcanic charge of the space while the 13 degree latitude provided excellent UVA and UVB sunshine (building redox).

Dr. Francisco Gutierrez – Speaker
Dr. Francisco Gutierrez is an established and highly skilled physician at Sol Y Mar with over 25 years of experience in Internal Medicine. Dr. G is an advocate of root cause medicine through circadian healthcare and utilises this approach with is patients globally with great success.
In addition to his extensive experience in Clinical Medicine, he has also held various leadership positions, including being an EPIC Physician Champion. His major interest is in vitality and longevity, researching how life-style changes can profoundly aid in not only preventing disease but also in reversing disease.
Dr. Gutierrez was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America. He graduated from El Salvador’s most distinguished medical school, La Universidad Evangelica de El Salvador, with Valedictorian Honors. He did his Internal Medicine Residency at Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island New York, where he also served as Chief Resident from 1999 to 2000. While in Residency, he published many papers and was the recipient of the Humanitarian Physician Award in 2000.

Michael Clusk – Speaker

Michael Clusk is the leader of Palestra, an initiative which aims to expand growth and development in El Salvador. Michael is passionate about decentralisation, bitcoin and quantum health and is excited to share is work with likemidned individuals.
Palestra is a research organization based in El Salvador centered on the principles of natural law and sovereignty.
Dr. Sara Pugh – Speaker
Dr. Sara Pugh is a distinguished expert in the fields of biochemistry and quantum biology, renowned for her innovative approaches to improving both mental and physical well-being. With a profound understanding of the intricate relationships between light, water, magnetism, and time.

Dr. Olivia Lesslar – Speaker
Dr. Lesslar is an Aussie medical doc and specialises in psychoneuroimmunology (mind-body) approach to health. Olivia is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer with The National Centre for Neuroimmunology and Emerging Diseases and a faculty lecturer at the Geneva College of Longevity Science. Olivia is an advocate and pioneer in the field of natural medicine.
Sarah Doheny MSc – Speaker
Sarah is a Nutritional Scientist (MSc, AfN) whose curiosity and research have fostered a deep interest in the effects of light on health and disease. She is passionate about advancing public health by translating cutting-edge science into accessible education. Key areas of interest include quantum biology, lifestyle medicine, photobiomodulation and chronobiology.
Mikayla Sprung – Speaker
Mikayla Sprung is a Health Coach who emphasises the connection between light & health. Mikayla has a strong relationship with light, consciousness and God. Mikayla is an advocate for animal based nourishment and circadian healthcare.

Solar Culture Panel Discussion Event Photography
