Yesterday I photographed portfolio pieces for for 5 fashion apparel designers. I had a blast dancing around mannequins and designers while intimately connecting with the apparel. It was great time! More image to come.

As a maker of photography I feel that people, expression and presentation are all factors to execute an effective portrait. To encapsulate the essence of a person is to connect and engage while giving the individual an opportunity to, within a second of time, express who they are.
The photographs below were made in studio at The Art Institute of Portland during my BFA program. The subjects range from strangers, faculty, friends and other photo students.
