It all began when Jessie was a stressed out, overworked social worker. She soon found that the hybrid animals she was designing brought her clients joy too, so she began involving them in the creative process as a way to connect with them. Eventually, Jessie went out on a limb – What if I could be an artist professionally? What if I could take this concept and share the art more broadly?
