I went to the Portland Farmers Market this past Saturday for their opening day. There was so much fresh food, hand crafted treats and children playing – it felt like summer! Well, except for the brief shower of rain which seemed to give everyone a quiet moment to explore and enjoy themselves while waiting under shelter.
I have a huge bag of produce and tasty treats to work through, life can’t get better than this!

And three of my photographs have been chosen!
April has be coined Portland’s Photography Month with selected galleries, bookstores, and artist celebrating the world of photography with events, talks and exhibitions.
I had the pleasure of being selected last year as well as this year as part of the annual “Then. Now. Here.” Photography Project by Photolucida. Then. Now. Here. is a celebration of Portland then and now with an inclusion of photography by local artists and historical imagery of Portland, Oregon.
Stay tuned! Three of my images will be on display at various galleries around the city within a collection of amazing photographers!
The “Then. Now. Here.” screening will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd 8-9:30pm at the Oregon Historical Society (1200 SW Park Avenue). There will be live music and tasty treats.
