One of my many bike rides in May was down on the East Waterfront path. Along the path was a unique tag that I couldn’t help but photograph. Going back on these images inspires me to join a Pedalpalooza ride this month.

Two Types of Light Project: Vista Bridge, Downtown Portland, Union Station, Union Pacific
This is my first project on two types of light in the same location [5 locations total]. A very exciting challenge that helped me see how different the world is and yet the same.
I’m really excited about this shoot. I just so happened to have my camera on me when the set was setting back in March and took pictures from the Vista Bridge in downtown Portland (also Venus and Jupiter after their conjunction). These pictures are taken from both sides of the bridge.
