Keeping it clear is a full-time job in the city and Portland is no exception. On any given day you will see a window cleaner high in the sky or down below, quietly wiping the dirt from the days before. Cheers to the Window Cleaner for I may never know what you really see.
Portland has the most amazing hidden green roofs that I have seen. Standing on the Lovejoy Building you can view a verity of eco-roofs. Here was my view. This inspires me to consider growing green on my future home!

Location: Pearl District, Downtown Portland, Oregon
I got a wonderful IDEA from a viewer to blend two of my images from the blog post Two Types of Light. Below is the final result. Thanks for the suggestion!

Two Types of Light Project: Vista Bridge, Downtown Portland, Union Station, Union Pacific
This is my first project on two types of light in the same location [5 locations total]. A very exciting challenge that helped me see how different the world is and yet the same.
2012 marked the 10th anniversary of Filmed by Bike, a festival of bike-themed short films. I got to enjoy a 6-mile bike ride to attend the “Best of the Best!” during their last showing this past Wednesday at the historic Clinton Theater. They showcased ‘Filmed by Bike’s’ top favorites from the last ten festivals. What a great sustainable group of people.
